People who are in their retirement should consider solar panels as a good energy-efficient option for their homes.
That is according to Heat My Home, which asserted that solar energy is beneficial for retirees because of its "longevity".
The solar panel provider noted that many people who are either retired or are nearing retirement age are increasingly appreciating green technology.
Heat My Home suggested that while solar panels used to be favoured by eco-conscious types, older people are now also embracing their benefits.
Stuart Lovatt of the company explained: "One unique selling point with solar is the longevity. A good quality system will easily last 30 years, so the long-term benefits of solar are obvious.
"How many things today can you buy with such a long lifespan? … This makes it a perfect investment if you are thinking long-term such as retirement".
