Case study: Mr Hayes
“We helped our granddaughter make the most of her travels.”
Mr & Mrs Hayes have eight grandchildren and wanted to give their family money now, whilst they could watch them benefit from it.
Mr Hayes said: “Our granddaughter, Georgia, is at Durham University studying Modern Languages. She has to travel a lot with her course. I can’t keep up with her! She’s in Spain at the moment, but all these trips cost a lot, so we wanted to help her out.”
Georgia emailed Key’s intouch magazine to tell us how equity release is helping her: “I’ve been able to seize every opportunity that came my way and really make the most of my time abroad! It’s all due to the generosity of my grandparents. I’ll look back with cherished memories and be eternally grateful to them for making my time abroad amazing.”
Mr. and Mrs. Hayes are delighted to be able to help: “Travelling is a big part of Georgia’s studies, so we’re pleased we can help with the costs. Equity release has been a good solution all round, since we’ve benefited too.
“I celebrated my 90th birthday this year and took a trip to South Africa. Two of the grandchildren even flew out as a surprise to join us which was wonderful.”

Very friendly and he gave me the confidence to make my decision about equity release.
I have been completely satisfied and overwhelmed by the professionalism from start to finish. Thank you Key.
The process was easier than we had anticipated and the support of the staff made it even easier.
